California Privacy Statement and Notice at Collection
This notice is for California residents and sits next to our Privacy Policy. It uses CCPA terms.
We do not sell or share
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as CCPA defines "sell" and "share." We do not run ads. We disclose personal information only to service providers working for us, for the business purposes below. Under CCPA, that is not a "sale" or a "share."
What we collect and why
Identifiers
Name, email, IP address, and device information — from Google, Apple, or magic-link sign-in, and from using the site. We use this to run your account, keep you logged in, keep the product secure, and send you product news and offers about Savee (you can turn these off in settings).
Commercial information
Subscription and payment records if you subscribe. A processor handles the payment. We use this to run the subscription.
Internet activity
How you use Savee — pages you open, saves, boards, comments. We use this to operate the product and to show related content (more like what you just saved).
Visual content
The images and videos you save, plus boards and comments. We display them and use them to run related content.
Professional information
Your employer or school and job title — from your email domain, your profile, and data enrichment providers. We use this to offer Team plans to your company or school.
We do not collect this to send it to ad networks. Service providers (hosting, email, payments, and sales and marketing tools, including data enrichment providers) see only what they need, and only to work for us. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what we have collected, used, or disclosed
- Correct information that is wrong
- Delete personal information, with the usual legal exceptions
- Get a copy of the information you provided, in a portable format
We will not treat you worse for asking. Because we do not sell or share personal information, there is nothing to opt out of on that front. You can still opt out of marketing email in your settings, and out of sales outreach or of us looking up where you work by writing us.

Authorized agents
An agent can make a request for you if they send proof they can act (for example, a power of attorney) and we can still verify your identity.
Retention
We keep this information while your account is open, and after that only as long as we need it to finish a request, stop abuse, or meet the law.
