Copyright Policy

Savee respects copyright. If you believe something on Savee copies your work without permission, tell us. We follow the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

How to send a notice

Email copyright@savee.com. You can also write our copyright agent:

Your notice must include:

A description of the copyrighted work you say is infringed
The URL or other location of the material on Savee, enough for us to find it
Your mailing address, phone number, and email
Your full legal name and a physical or electronic signature (typing your name is enough)

And these statements:

"I hereby state that I have a good faith belief that the disputed use of the copyrighted material or reference or link to such material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law (for example, as a fair use)."

"I hereby state that the information in this notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that I'm the owner, or authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright or of an exclusive right under the copyright that's allegedly infringed."

Use copyright@savee.com only for copyright notices. For everything else, write hey@savee.com. False notices can have legal consequences. Consider fair use before you send one.

Images that appear in more than one save

If you want us to take down every save that uses the same image, say so at the start of your email. We can only match identical copies. Cropped or edited versions need their own URLs.

If we take something down

We will try to notify the user who posted it. They can ask us for a copy of the notice (we may hide personal contact details) by writing copyright@savee.com.

Counter-notification

If you think we removed your content by mistake or misidentification, email a counter-notification to copyright@savee.com that includes:

Your name, address, phone number, and email
Identification of the material and where it was before we removed it
A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification
A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice
Your physical or electronic signature

If the notice is valid, we may restore the content unless the copyright owner files a court action. False counter-notices can have legal consequences.

Repeat infringers

We may limit or close accounts that repeatedly infringe copyright. How far we go depends on how often it happens and how serious it is.
